London Cancer Alliance Fellowship Position

The London Cancer Alliance (LCA) is offering exciting opportunities for two non-medical research fellows to undertake a 12-month research project. The posts are open to non-medical professionals including: nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, health scientists and other allied health professionals (AHP). This is jointly funded with two Biomedical Research Centres (BRCs): NIHR Imperial BRC and NIHR Royal Marsden BRC.

There are a total of 9 fellowships for nurses and AHPs up for grabs, of which one is focused on Holistic Needs assessment in Lung Cancer including the one that might be of interest to members of the RIG (the bid for this is  shown HERE). Of these 9 projects, 2 will be successful as LCA Fellowships and can be 1 year full time or 2 years part time. Applicants would have to be able to work across the London area.

Interested people for project 2 (HNA in Lung Cancer) need to contact M Johnson at m.johnson@rbht.nhs.uk in the first instance (please do NOT click "reply" to this email)  and a joint bid between the supervisory team and the applicant needs to be submitted by 12th February.

More detail on the programme can be found HERE
