Equality and Diversty

LCNUK aims to help support Lung Cancer Specialist Nursing teams ensure they understand key issues surrounding equality and diversity and have access to appropriate signposting for patients.  We also aim to assess our own practice to ensure we are meeting standards set out in The Equality Act 2010.  We encourage all our members to engage with their Trust guidance and training.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission describe nine protected characteristics which we provide additional information and signposting below.

Held Thursday 20th - Friday 21st June at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow. In this year’s event we’ll be returning to the fundamentals that are so important to our role focusing on patient centred care and symptom management.
