Working at the front line of cancer care, LCNSs manage and deliver complex and personalised care to patients from the point of diagnosis throughout their cancer journey. We provide information and support for patients and carers and help them to make informed treatment choices and supportive care in the management of symptoms and side effects.
Navigator Professional Framework
Lung Cancer Navigators/Coordinators work closely with the LCNSs to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for patients with a lung cancer diagnosis. Under the direction, guidance and supervision of the LCNSs, the Navigators/Coordinators are there to help coordinate care and support patients through clinical investigations, diagnosis, cancer treatment and beyond
