The Hilton Glasgow is ideally located in the city’s financial district, just 8 miles from Glasgow Airport and a short walk from the vibrant city center.

Directions

By Air

To reach the Hilton Glasgow by air, fly into Glasgow Airport (GLA). From the airport, you can take a taxi (up to 40 minutes) straight to the hotel. Or you can use the Airport Express bus, which runs every 10 minutes, from Terminal Building to Blythswood Street in the city centre (25 minutes). It is then about a 7-minute walk to the hotel from there.

By Rail

To reach the Hilton Glasgow by train, arrive at Glasgow's main train station, Glasgow Central. From there the venue is a 15-minute walk. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from outside the station (10 minutes), a bus (15 minutes), or an additional train (ScotRail, 7 minutes). The latter two options both include a 5-minute walk.

By Bus

To reach the Hilton Glasgow by bus, board a bus that is heading towards the city centre. Once you have arrived at a central location, the venue is a short walk away.

The following buses have routes that pass near to the Hilton Glasgow: 1, 1D, 2, 3, 500, 60A, and 77.

By Car

Located on the edge of Glasgow’s city centre, the closest motorway to the Hilton Glasgow is the M8. The Sat Nav addess and postcode is 1 William Street, G3 8HT.

Car Parking

There is parking available at the Hilton Glasgow. The rates are £15/night for hotel guests and £3/hour for visitors. The maximum vehicle height is 1.8m. 

Alternatively, the nearest car park to the venue is the Cadogan Square Car Park. It is located at 25 Douglas Street, Glasgow G2 7PA. A 10-minute walk away from the venue, it is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday to Saturday at a daily charge of £2.80/hour.

The conference has been instigated and organised by LCNUK. Sponsors have contributed funding towards this event in return for exhibition space. They have had no input into the agenda or the selection of speakers with the exception of any sponsored symposia which are clearly indicated.
