LCNUK has been brilliant for networking

Larissa Griffiths, LCNUK Member

This blog is part of our #LCNUK2022 series, sharing attendees experiences of our LCNUK Annual Conference.

I attended the LCNUK on 12 May 22, I found the conference very informative and enjoyed all the speakers. I especially enjoyed the 'CBT in 10 minutes' and 'symptom management, managing breathlessness' presentations - I found these very useful and will look into these more and the courses they provide as I think they will be very useful when helping patients.

I very much enjoyed the Andrew Strauss chat and the services they offer for young families is brilliant, very useful and we will tap into their services. The stalls were very informative, again the Ruth Strauss stall, the ALK positive patient group and the EGFR positive groups, these will be very useful for our patients. I will be using all of these resources and requesting further information - I wouldn’t have known about these had it not been for the LCNUK conference.

The hotel and food were amazing and the night's entertainment was brilliant. LCNUK has been brilliant for networking I have met colleagues that I have worked with over the last few years and never actually met face to face so it has been a great way to meet these people in person.
