I attended alone...but I certainly did not feel alone

Tammy James, LCNUK Member

This blog is part of our #LCNUK2022 series, sharing attendees experiences of our LCNUK Annual Conference.

Having attended previous conferences with LCNUK, this one was remarkable, not just because of the fact that due to Covid it was the first one since 2019, but that the atmosphere was electric. Everyone was buzzing with catching up with their peers, other professionals and excited about what they had to share with us all, over the last few years, and although Covid had hit us all hard, the amount of work that had been done and continued regarding extended practices was outstanding. The LCNUK committee never stop to amaze me with the hard work that they put into developing such an amazing programme of events year after year.

The conference was informative, exciting and awe-inspiring. I always come away from these events feeling like I can achieve anything for our lung cancer patients. The networking and knowledge sharing is fantastic. I attended alone this year but I certainly did not feel alone within this wonderful community.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the presentations and would highly recommend anyone that hasn’t attended to do so!
