Jennifer Skipsey is an advanced physiotherapist with more than ten years experience in the NHS and has specialised in oncology for the last six years. Jennifer works between NuTH and St Oswald's Hospice, co-running the Lung Cancer Outpatient Therapy Service (LCOTS) and Combined Supportive Care Service (CSCS).

Jennifer supports people living with cancer, minimises the physical impact of cancer and its treatment to improve quality of life at any stage of disease from diagnosis to palliative care. She is interested in non-pharmacological symptom management and have a keen interest in acupuncture and CBT for breathlessness

The conference has been instigated and organised by LCNUK. Sponsors have contributed funding towards this event in return for exhibition space. They have had no input into the agenda or the selection of speakers with the exception of any sponsored symposia which are clearly indicated.
