Isobel Lovett

Isobel is a Partner and Head of the Asbestos Disease Team at Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors in London and has specialised In asbestos disease cases for over 18 years. She is a Fellow and Accredited Asbestos and Occupational Disease specialist of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and assesses others seeking specialist accreditation. She also serves on APIL’s Training and Accreditation Committee.

Isobel is recommended lawyer by the Legal 500 and has been described as ” ‘highly experienced in the field of asbestos litigation’. ” Isobel Lovett is the name to note for mesothelioma cases and has a wealth of experience in asbestos product claims.” In Legal 500 2019 she was described as a ‘first-class litigator’ whose client care ‘is second to none‘.

Having previously been based in the North, on moving to London in 2015 to set up her team, Isobel was instrumental in establishing the London Asbestos Support and Awareness Group, an independent charity providing ongoing support to victims of asbestos diseases across London and the South East. She continues to support the work of the charity.

Isobel was appointed a Trustee of the National Lung Cancer Forum for Nurses in 2018 to help the organisation advocate in the interests of lung cancer and mesothelioma nurse specialists who are so important to her clients. Isobel is particularly keen on promoting opportunities to share specialist knowledge and access ongoing training, whether online or at conferences/meetings
