Supporting patients who can't wear a mask

For some of our patients it is very difficult for them to wear a mask.  Patients can be exempt from wearing masks if:-

  • They cannot put a mask on, wear or remove a face covering because of a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability
  • If putting on, wearing or removing a face covering causes severe distress

Patients can download an exemption badge or have them sent to smart phones
