Mick Peake retires

Mick Peake “retirement do”

After many years at the helm of lung cancer services, Mick Peake has retired. Mick Peake was an inspirational and motivational clinician who changed the landscape of lung cancer services and one of the greatest supporters of the NLCFN.  A retirement do was held on12th May in Leicester to which I was invited to deliver a talk on ‘The best thing to happen in lung cancer – development of lung cancer nursing’. As part of that talk Maria Guerin and I delivered an ‘Ode to Mick the Peake’ which you can find if you click HERE
