Thank you and farewell to Josie Roberts

LCNUK would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to Josie Roberts who has stepped down from the LCNUK Committee.

Current LCNUK Chair, Jackie Fenemore said:

"Josie Roberts has been a great inspiration to us all on the LCNUK committee. Josie has won an a small grant award and has been instrumental in pushing for a pre-habilitation service for lung cancer patients in Rotherham. Josie has also presented many projects throughout her time on the LCNUK committee and BTOG steering group, at national and international conferences, including our recent publication on the LCNS Framework, which Josie led on. We wish Josie all the very best and hope to see her in the future at our conferences."

Fellow Committee Member, Karen Clayton shared:

"Josie has been a big support to me personally and to other lung cancer nurses across the UK.

I really enjoyed co-chairing the workshops and attending world lung with her. Josie enthusiasm and knowledge all things lung cancer is second to none and she is an inspirational and colleague and friend, I will miss her on the committee and look forward to catching up at Conference."
