Thursday 12th November 2020, 17.00 - 18.00
During the pandemic we may begin to notice the similarities between the challenges and struggles the virus presents, to the suffering created by the experience of Lung Cancer and Mesothelioma. Fear, anxiety, uncertainty, anger, frustration, depression, disruption, dashed hopes, isolation, grief and loss of control to name a few. As Clinicians, working with both, how do you maintain a balance in your everyday life that protects your well-being and prevents you from overwhelm; and as people with an innate quality and skill for caring for others, how do you include yourself in that sphere of care and kindness? This webinar provides an introduction to mindful compassion, an opportunity to experience a mindful compassion practice and the chance of questioning the speaker.
