The 19th Annual LCNUK Project will take place on the evening of Monday 23rd September through Tuesday 24th September 2024.
This year's project is developing a patient dependency tool to support assessment of workload and capacity of lung cancer nurse specialists.
Participants who commit to the project will be required to attend the meeting on 23rd/24th September, be involved in adhoc telephone video-conferencing and attend a follow up meeting in March 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in an active, time-limited programme supported by expert facilitators and a project manager and to be involved in this tool's development and refinement. Our aim is to test the tool, refine and share widely. Upon completion of this project we will submit the work as an abstract at national and international lung cancer events and explore if the tool can be rolled out nationally.
Previous projects have proved incresibly successful with abstracts presented at World Conference on Lung Cancer and, importantly, have helped to drive change and increase knowledge and skills.
Attendance and registration costs are covered by LCNUK. Standard class travel expenses up to a maximum of £250 will be refunded by LCNUK subject to completion of an expenses claim form and accompanied by receipts where appropriate. Members are encouraged to book travel as early as possible to achieve the best possible travel rates.
