Lorraine is the Director of Information & Support with Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. The organisation is the UK’s lung cancer focused charity, funding research, offering support for those affected and campaigning for improvements in early detection and outcomes. Lorraine’s team work in raising awareness, early detection, risk reduction at policy and community levels. Lorraine has worked in cancer charities for over twenty years working in partnership with the health service. She represents the charity on the UK Lung Cancer Coalition and Scottish Cancer Coalition and with UK pharmaceutical partners. Lorraine is the current chair of the Less Survivable Cancer Taskforce Scottish group. Lorraine feels that advocacy and representation of patient experience is critical to improve diagnosis, treatment and care.

The conference has been instigated and organised by LCNUK. Sponsors have contributed funding towards this event in return for exhibition space.
