Julie is currently working as a Macmillan Lung Cancer CNS at Wythenshawe hospital in Manchester. She jointly manages a team of lung cancer CNSs within a lung cancer directorate. Julie has worked as a lung cancer CNS for over 12 years. Prior to this, she worked as a Macmillan palliative care CNS within the hospital team. Julie started her career in colorectal surgery then moved into respiratory medicine in the critical care setting . She is committed and strives for patients and families to gain the support they require when being diagnosed with a lung cancer and throughout their illness.
