LCNUK was very sad to learn of the death of James Brokenshire, MP from lung cancer at the age of 53. James, a never smoker, supported the LCNUK through its conference education programme and campaigning. Chair of the committee, Jackie Fenemore, said "James spoke so eloquently and supportively at our national conference in 2019". James was a father of three children and devoted husband to his wife Cathy.
