Age

We know that lung cancer incident rates are highest with the 80 to 89 age range across males and females.  However, lung cancer can be diagnosed with people at a much earlier age.

Age-specific incidence rates rise steeply from around age 45 and although less common can be found in younger age ranges. The specialist nurse’s role is key when supporting the varying needs of our patients.
