I work at the NNUH as a Nurse Consultant in Lung Cancer. I have always been passionate about the care of patients with Lung Cancer and thinking of ways to improve the pathway. I have a wide range of experience in Lung Cancer starting from the day I qualified as a nurse at the NNUH. In my journey to becoming a Nurse Consultant in Lung Cancer I have worked at the Royal PAPWORTH Hospital, Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge and Guys and St Thomas Hospital in London. Across these hospitals I have gained inspiration from the people I have worked with and valuable experience in Oncology, Surgery and the Diagnostic pathway of Lung Cancer. I also spent 3 months in The Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou in Paris, learning about Enhanced recovery after lung resection surgery for cancer and I stayed in Campinas, Brazil learning about the holistic treatment in Lung Cancer Pain. I have started my new chapter at the NNUH in my Nurse Consultant post and I am looking forward to being part of the LCNUK Committee and continuing my journey on improving the Lung cancer pathway, patient experiences and patient outcomes.
