This was actually my first time attending this conference despite being a member for six or so years. I enjoyed it immensely and fully intend on coming again in future. I have been to other lung cancer specific conferences previously, but a particular point of enjoyment for this was that all that was discussed was directly applicable to my work and day-to-day concerns – which is not necessarily the case with other conferences which must cater to broader multi-disciplinary group of attendees.
I also had the pleasure of speaking with colleagues across the country to compare practices – even meeting some colleagues in person that I have only spoken to by email previously!
I wholly recommend the experience and look forward to my next attendance.
