Following the publication of the BTS Guidelines for the Investigation and Management of Pulmonary Nodules in 2015, three risk prediction calculators have been developed to assist clinicians in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary nodules - using either CT, PET-CT or volume doubling time information. These calculators are available via the BTS website

As a member of the LCNUK committee you will be able to influence the future decisions of LCNUK and get involved in planning all aspects of LCNUK business.

At this year's annual conference we were delighted to award Angela Tod with the prestigious LCNUK lifetime achievement award.  The award, presented once every five years celebrates the outstanding achievement of an LCNUK member who has made a substantial contribution to LCNUK and the care of people with lung cancer 

 Mesothelioma UK is committed to supporting research into all aspects of treatment and care related to mesothelioma. Working in collaboration with Lung Cancer Nursing UK up to £25,000 is available for a LCNUK member or group of members to undertake a small scale research study, a complex audit or a preliminary enquiry to support a larger grant application. 

You can register now for the 18th BTOG annual conference to be held at the Clayton Hotel, Dublin on 29th - 31st January 2020. The conference includes over 70 presentations, panel discussions, satellite symposia and subgroup updates.

Dr Cathy Henshall, Senior Nursing Research Fellow at Oxford Brookes University will be speaking at the 15th IMIG conference taking place in Brisbane from 25-28 March 2020.
