Principles of Mesothelioma Care Online E-module
This innovative module, organised by The Royal Marsden School, supported by Mesothelioma UK and the University of East Anglia, will provide the student with the necessary specialist knowledge and skills to care for patients with mesothelioma. The social context of mesothelioma and the implications for patients and carers will be critically explored, with particular reference to the implications for carers after the patient’s death.
The module is delivered as an e-learning package, where students use an online forum (Moodle) to access resources, discussion forums, activities and e-learning materials. This provides the student with the opportunity to work flexibly, collaborate with other students whilst being supported by tutors who facilitate online learning.
