Notice of Annual General Meeting and resolutions of Lung Cancer Nursing UK

Notice is hereby given that the Seventh Annual General Meeting of Lung Cancer Nursing UK (“the charity“) will be via Zoom on Thursday 18th November at 16.35

If you are unable to attend this important meeting, please submit your proxy vote now. 

The business of the meeting will be:
1.    To receive the minutes of the 2020 AGM held on Friday 27th  November 2020 by Zoom.
2.    To review the achievements of the Company in 2020, its business activities in 2021 and plans for 2022.
3.    To receive the annual report and accounts for the period ending 31st January 2020

To consider and, if thought fit, to pass the following ordinary resolutions: 

  1. To re-elect Lorraine Creech as trustee. 
  2. To re-elect Alison Leary as trustee
  3. To re-elect Isobel Lovett as trustee
  4. To re-elect John White as trustee
  5. To re-appoint Dodd and Co as accountants and independent scrutineers to the charity until the completion of the next annual general meeting of the Company at which accounts are laid and to authorise the trustees to fix their remuneration.

A member entitled to attend and vote at the meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and, on a poll, vote in his/her place. A proxy need not also be a member. In order to be effective, a completed and signed form of proxy must reach the Company’s correspondence address on or before 16:35hrs on Tuesday 16th November 2021.
